GENEVA/HAMBURG (FIBA U17 World Championship for Men) – With the inaugural editions the FIBA U17 World Championship for Men – held in Hamburg from 2nd to 11th July 2010 – now less than three months away, the application process for media accreditation has now been launched. All media wishing to attend the Championship are required to complete the accreditation application form and return it by e-mail or post to Elisabeth Kozlowski, Press Officer of the Local Organising Committee (LOC):

The deadline for application is 15th June 2010. We would like to remind you that this registration form is an application only and accordingly does not guarantee accreditation to the event.
An official media hotel with preferential rates will be made available to interested media representatives. Please note that the deadline for rooms in the official media hotel is 6th May 2010. However, every effort will be made to ensure media representatives are offered a room in the media hotel beyond this deadline. Click here for information about the official media hotel.
FIBA and the Local Organising Committee will inform all applicants of the success of their requests shortly after the accreditation process closes.
